My name is Vasi and I am a software developer and performance coach. I was 14 when I discovered computers and programming and it took me about a year to figure out that this is what I love doing and I want to have a career around it.

There are all kind of quotes around doing what you love and how that’s a recipe for success. I knew what I wanted and I was pretty good at it, so I thought that I’m on the right track. Except that things were not as straightforward as those quotes make it sound. There were other skills that I needed, things like showing up to an interview and being able to showcase my programming skills instead of turning into an incoherent mess, having the courage to speak up in a meeting and the knowledge to do so in a way that makes it more likely to be heard, finding inner motivation instead of the praise from teachers or grades on exam, dealing with imposter syndrome, avoiding burnout… So even though I was doing what I loved, at the end of the day I would still get home exhausted and drained, with no energy for life outside work.

I thought I was weird or broken because even though I followed my passion, it didn’t lead me to the promised land. But then I discovered hypnotherapy and coaching and the techniques I learned greatly improved how I felt at work.

It is my mission today to help others navigate their work life with ease and enjoyment, so that at the end of the day, there’s energy left for the people and things that are important outside work.
